Michael V. Ross
Michael received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1972 from the University of Western Ontario. He attended law school at the University of Ottawa where he obtained his Bachelor of Law Degree in 1975. Upon Michael's call to the Bar of Ontario in 1977, he accepted an associate position with the Ottawa law firm of MacDonald, Affleck. Later that same year he joined the law firm of Quigley & Associates in Smiths Falls, becoming a partner in 1981.
Michael has an active practice involving civil, criminal, family, real estate, wills, estates and corporate law.
Michael's community activities include director of the Lanark Frontenac Lennox and Addington Federal Liberal Association and Director of the Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital Board. He is also a former Treasurer of the "Your Health our Promise Capital Campaign", to revitalize the Smiths Falls site of the Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital.

Michael R. Cliffen
Smiths Falls is the hometown of Michael Cliffen - he attended elementary as well as high school here. After high school, Michael attended Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario and obtained his Bachelor of Arts Degree with Concentrations in Mathematics and Economics in 1976. He received the gold medal at Queens University that year.
Michael graduated from Queen's University Law School in 1979.
Michael articled with the law firm of Quigley and Associates (as it then was) and was called to the Bar of Ontario in 1981. His areas of practice are focused on real estate & mortgages, municipal law, planning and development, corporate & commercial, and wills, estate planning & estates.
Michael has been active in the local community. In 1988 he was elected to the municipal council of the Town of Smiths Falls and was re-elected in 1991, 1994, and 1997 (he did not stand for re-election in 2000). He is also a former chairman of the Lanark Community Mental Health Program, St. Francis de Sales Parish Council and Smiths Falls Municipal Daycare. He continues to serve as a member of the Smiths Falls Police Services Board. An avid amateur artist, his watercolour paintings are frequently used for fund raising by local, provincial and national charitable organizations.
Michael is married (Karen) and has five children - Jonathan, Elizabeth, Brian, Jason and Lauren.

Pamela Biron
Pamela Biron joined Ross Cliffen and Associates in October of 2010 and
provides legal services in the areas of civil litigation and family law throughout the Smiths Falls region, including Lanark County, Leeds and Grenville, Brockville, Carleton Place and Ottawa. She is a member of the County of Lanark Law Association, and the Lanark County Collaborative Law Association.
Pamela Biron received her honours bachelor's degree in Social Sciences from the University of Ottawa, in 2006, from which she graduated magna
cum laude. She also attended law school at the University of Ottawa, where she focused her course interests on torts, criminal law, and dispute resolution. Pamela articled at Connolly Obagi LLP, and was called to the bar in Ontario in 2010.
Pamela is married and has one stepdaughter.
